Presented below is a chart that represents the breakdown of dues for all UESF members. The dollar amount that each member pays depends upon the job classification. Full-time teachers pay monthly dues of $86.14 plus 1.5% for any bonuses earned through Proposition A and for National Board certification. Paraprofessionals and substitutes pay 1.5% of their gross pay.
The majority of our dues go to our state and national affiliates (81.8%). The remainder goes to our Local union (17.83%) and to the labor council (1.29%).
