Volunteer - Final Push to Election Victory
The November 2, 2010 election will be critical for public education. From the school Board election and the local ballot, to the Governor's race and statewide initiatives, how we vote will have a profound effect on whether we adequately support our students and our schools.
As usual, member involvement will be key to help educate the public about what is at stake in the coming election. UESF members are encouraged to organize a phone bank night for their school at campaign headquarters. It's easy, dinner is included, and it is the best way to make a difference in what are incredibly close races.
For more information and to get your school involved, contact UESF Political Director Ken Tray at 956-8373 or ktray@uesf.org.
